TOOMORE's first pop-up store in Hong Kong

With the theme of "Rediscovering Hong Kong's Film Culture", it recreates the history of Hong Kong films through large-scale art installations, film-themed paintings and a variety of peripheral products. , and look forward to the infinite possibilities of the future of film.
To match the theme of the exhibition, the venue has specially set up a large-scale art installation - "Fallen Movie Stars" and a film tribute painting created by local artist Caxton Yeung, symbolizing the inheritance and rebirth of Hong Kong film culture.
The creative idea of Kenny Sze, one of the founders of TOOMORE: "The Falling Movie Planet" is to express that there is a planet in the universe that records the brilliance, memory and culture of Hong Kong movies. A meteorite impact caused a star to fall into Hong Kong, with fragments scattered in different places... We hope that through this exhibition, we can reunite art, culture, film and fashion, and piece together every fragment to its original appearance. In every exhibition, we hope to explore the problems of today's society in an imaginative way, or to appeal to both the elite and the masses, so that the public can resonate with it and even gain a sense of strength. "
Stanley (Qiu Shijin), another founder of TOOMORE, said: "Hong Kong movies had an influence throughout Asia in the 1980s and are the most representative cultural treasure of Hong Kong. We hope to bring new elements of fashion and film culture to the new generation. A brand new viewing experience, rediscover the charm of Hong Kong films. In this journey, just by protecting our cultural heritage and doing a little more, we can reassemble the fragments and bring out the spirit of Hong Kong. "

Kowloon Walled City: Besieged Series
The series specially launched limited edition "Tornado" and "Four Boys" figures with the design concepts of "past", "present" and "future". The "past" and "future" versions were designed by the famous local toy designer Gino Designed by Lai and handcrafted by prototype designer Yi Hao, it is limited to 25 pieces and comes in a special pine wood storage box, making it a unique collection.
Every hand that works, just like every person’s thinking, is unique. We hope to express the three aspects of each person’s inner world through handmade models full of warmth: the past, present and future. The use of distressed and faded finishes symbolizes the “past” of historical memory; the use of primary color effects presents the real and pure “present”; and the use of metallic paint represents the “future” of expectation and hope. These three aspects carry TOOMORE’s memories and outlook on movies, recording moments from some classic movies and those that are about to become classics.
